President's Message: November 2025

Two weeks ago, I had the honor of receiving the gavel from Dr. Linda Scott, becoming the American Academy of Nursing’s 31st President. When I ran to serve as President-Elect, I had completed two terms on the Board, serving from 2017-2021. The evolution of the Academy was evident during these years, and when I came back to the Board in 2023, I was energized by the work ahead for the organization.
