The American Academy of Nursing (Academy) offers the option to post employment advertisements in either its monthly membership newsletter, FAAN Mail, and/or on the organization’s website. Your job posting will reach nursing’s most accomplished leaders in policy, research, administration, practice, and academia. See details below. The Academy accepts employment postings from both Fellows and the public. Prior to publication, all postings will be reviewed and approved by the Academy staff for appropriateness of content and follows the specifications outlined below. Job postings should align with the Academy's mission. After receipt of purchase is received, the advertisement will be posted online within five business days or in the appropriate e-newsletter. Please contact Ellie Cook, Senior Communications and Inclusivity Manager, at ecook@aannet.org with questions and for assistance posting purchased ads. Website Job Posting Specifications If submitting a Word or PDF document, it should be limited to one page in length and may include a logo. The advertisement copy should include relevant contact information and submission deadlines. Alternatively, the Academy can

Newsletter Job Posting Specifications The Academy’s monthly newsletter, FAAN Mail, is sent typically the 1st Wednesday of each month to approximately 3,000 Fellows. Advertisements should be 500 or fewer characters (including spaces) in length and the ad copy
is due two business days prior to the publication date. Advertisements will appear as a headline in the career opportunities or announcements section of FAAN Mail that links to your full announcement or ad. Advertisements
will appear in the next available edition of FAAN Mail unless requested to post in a later edition. Newsletter Job Posting Pricing
Mailing Labels List Rental The Academy offers the option to purchase a copy of our mailing list. Academy Fellows opt-in to be included in our mailing list. This mailing list is updated twice a year, typically in May and November. The mailing list uses the preferred (physical) mailing address of the Fellow, which may be either a business or a home address. We do NOT provide e-mail addresses. Mailing Labels List Specifications Please forward the document you would like to send to Ellie Cook at ecook@aannet.org for review and approval. The Academy will send the addresses of its Fellows as an Excel spreadsheet. The Academy mailing list is to be used one time only. The Academy mailing list is to be used appropriately, in good taste, and not for the solicitation of funds. Upon receipt of the ad copy, the Academy will send the list of physical addresses within 5 business days. Any Academy mailing list order may be canceled and fully refunded provided the request to cancel is sent PRIOR to the emailing of the full list. Mailing Labels List Pricing
