About the SAVE Campaign for Nursing Science
Science Adds Value for Everyone (SAVE) is the Academy’s comprehensive initiative to demonstrate the value and impact of nursing science to policymakers and the public. Nursing science – the science
of care – transforms how care is delivered at the bedside, in homes, schools, and communities. SAVE communicates why nursing science is critical to improving the health and well-being of countless lives, and how cuts to
federal research agencies that support nursing science have devastating consequences to everyone’s health. Support the SAVE Campaign and Help the Academy Promote Nursing Science

Over the coming months, critical decisions will be made by federal policymakers that will impact funding levels, the generation of knowledge, and the core structure of revered research institutions, including the National Institute for Nursing Research. It is imperative that the Academy works together with our members, community and coalition partners, and policymakers to raise awareness that Science Adds Value for Everyone. At the start of this campaign, the Academy's Board of Directors, Development Committee, and leadership staff contributed $10,000 in support of the campaign's launch. Will you help the Academy reach a collective goal of $50,000? Help the Academy achieve these efforts through a donation to the SAVE campaign.
