Support of PREEMIE Reauthorization Act & Preventing Maternal Deaths Reauthorization Act

The Academy joined over 250 organizations on a letter led by the March of Dimes to House and Senate offices in support of the PREEMIE Reauthorization Act (S.1562/H.R.1197) and the Preventing Maternal Deaths Reauthorization Act (PMDA) (S.2621/H.R.1909). This legislation is vital to reauthorize and expand research, education and intervention activities related to preterm birth, and strengthen federal support for Maternal Mortality Review Committees (MMRCs), respectively.
