Strategic Partnerships
The American Academy of Nursing has multiple partnerships with organizations to advance the organization's policy priorities, increase accessibility to all forms of health care; protect the health and well-being of communities; and modernize and innovate the health care system.
Academy Health
Academy Health is a leading national organization serving the fields of health services and policy research and the professionals who produce and use this important work. The organization “improves health and health care for all by advancing evidence to inform policy and practice.”
Ad Hoc Group for Medical Research
The Ad Hoc Group for Medical Research serves as a “coalition of patient and voluntary health groups, medical and scientific societies, academic and research organizations, and industry that support enhancing the federal investment in the biomedical, behavioral, and population-based research conducted and supported by the National Institutes of Health."
Alliance for Disease Prevention and Response
The Alliance for Disease Prevention and Response states that its mission is to "build and empower a diverse, collaborative, multi-sector, sustainable public health movement with clearly defined roles, authority, and resources to ensure health, equity, and well-being for all.” APRN Workgroup

Gun Violence Prevention Roundtable
The Gun Violence Prevention Roundtable is a nonpartisan national coalition of leading medical, public health, and research organizations educates policymakers about the value of federal funding for firearm violence prevention research.
Mental Health Liaison Group

The National Academy of Medicine (NAM) Roundtable on Genomics and Precision Health's purpose is to "bring together diverse voices to encourage innovation and actions that foster the wide adoption of and equitable access to the benefits of genomics and precision health."
NAM Initiative to Accelerate the National Climate and Health Movement
The National Academy of Medicine (NAM) Initiative to Accelerate the National Climate and Health Movement "aims to serve as a coordinating body to build and sustain momentum of organizations addressing climate and health across the nation.
This initiative will broaden this national movement to mobilize health-related organizations, provide guidance and resources, and facilitate relationships across participating organizations."
National Coalition of Ethnic Minority Nurse Associations
The National Coalition of Ethnic Minority Nurse Associations' (NCEMNA's) mission is “to be a unified body advocating for equity and justice in healthcare. To be a leading voice and driving force for ethnic minority nurses and populations.”
National Quality Forum

United States Breastfeeding Committee
