2025 Academy Elections Process

The American Academy of Nursing election this year is for various leadership positions including President-Elect, Secretary, Board of Directors, Fellow Selection Committee, and Nominating Committee. The Academy encourages all Fellows to vote.

The 2025 Election is now open, votes must be submitted by Thursday, September 11, 2025. To be eligible to vote, you must be a Fellow in good standing. You may only vote once. To access and complete the online ballot, please click on the "Vote in the 2025 Academy Election" button. You must be signed in to your member profile on the website to submit your vote. View the candidates for each position below. On the ballot page you will be able to read their candidate statement and leadership profile.
