Sign-On Letter in Support of the Barriers to Suicide Act of 2025 (H.R.3505)

The Academy joined 35 members of the Mental Health Liaison Group (MHLG) on a letter to Rep. Donald Beyer (D-VA) and Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA) in support of the Barriers to Suicide Act of 2025 (H.R.3505). This act would establish a grant program to help states, localities and Tribal governments provide life-saving nets and barriers on bridges, buildings, and other high-risk structures.
