Sign-On Letter Passage of SUPPORT for Patients and Communities Act of 2025

The Academy joined 57 members of the Mental Health Liaison Group (MHLG) in a letter to leaders of the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions and the House Committee on Energy & Commerce thanking them for the passage of the SUPPORT for Patients and Communities Act of 2025. This act strengthens prevention, treatment, and recovery services for those struggling with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental illness, bolstering vital access to lifesaving support.
