We are thrilled you are interested in reinstating your Fellowship with the American Academy of Nursing. In order to remain in good standing as a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing (FAAN), you must be current on dues. Dues must be paid annually by January 31 with a two-month grace period. A late fee is assessed beginning on April 1.

According to the American Academy of Nursing Dues Policy, as noted in the Bylaws, Fellowship is considered lapsed beginning May 1 when dues and the late fee have not been paid. A Fellow whose membership has lapsed may request reinstatement by completing the form below which will be shared with the Academy’s CEO. Additionally, they are required to pay the dues fee and the reinstatement fee.

Upon completion of the form below, you will be prompted to pay the reinstatement fee. Once your form and reinstatement fee have been received, the Academy’s Member Engagement Manager, will follow-up with details regarding how to log into your Academy profile in order to make your dues payment and officially reinstatement your membership.
