The American Academy of Nursing accepts all major credit cards as well as ACH and check payments. Fellows have the option to complete dues through either a single payment or through a two-payment installment. Starting January 2026, a 3% processing fee will be implemented for credit card transactions.

In response to feedback from the Fellowship, the Academy offers the option to pay Fellowship dues in two installments. You are able to select to pay your full dues amount or the installment option (two payments) upon renewal. It is important to note that the installment option was only available through the dues renewal deadline of January 31, 2026.

If you select the option to pay in two installments, please ensure that you also select the installment option in the payment section before hitting submit, see screenshot below, otherwise you will be charged the full amount. The installments option will only be available for selection through January 31, 2026. Your second dues payment must be submitted by March 31, 2026.

If paying by credit card for the installment option, your credit card will automatically be charged for the second installment based on the installment schedule shown on the payment page.

You also have the option to login and pay for the second installment before the March 31, 2026 due date by visiting https://aannet.org/members/membership.asp and completing the 2nd installment payment there.

Please note: Upon making the first installment payment, your expiration date will reflect 6/29/2026 - and that is what will show in the initial automated notification you will receive. Once we receive your second dues installment payment (before March 31, 2026), your expiration date will be valid through 12/31/2026.

At this time, credit card information is not saved to your member profile, with the exception of individuals selecting the two-payment installments for dues renewal. You will be prompted to enter your credit card information each time you make a payment to the Academy.

If paying by check, please make it payable to the American Academy of Nursing and mail to the address below. Please include your full name on your dues payment check to ensure accurate processing. If your organization is submitting a dues check on your behalf, please direct them to put your full name into the notes field.
