Sign-On Letter to Congress in Support of the I CAN Act

The Academy joined with 262 members of the Nurse Practitioner Roundtable in letters to the leadership of the House of Representatives Ways and Means and Energy and Commerce Committees, as well as the Senate Finance Committee, in support of the Improving Care and Access to Nurses (I CAN) Act (H.R.1317/S.575). The I CAN Act would help increase access to quality care and lower costs in the Medicare and Medicaid programs by removing unnecessary barriers to practice for Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs).
