If you are a not a Fellow, you can create a guest account in order to:

  • Purchase an Academy product,
  • Donate to the organization
  • Register for an event that is open to the public
  • Sign-up to receive non-member Academy emails and announcements

How to Become a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing

The American Academy of Nursing (Academy) is an honorific society that nursing leaders are inducted into based on a rigorous selection process. Fellows who are selected, participate in an Induction Ceremony held during the Academy’s annual Health Policy Conference in Washington, DC. After an individual who is selected participates in the Induction Ceremony, they are formally accepted into the organization and may use the FAAN credential.

Please note that all existing Fellows and Academy members (such as Living Legends, Honorary Fellows, etc.) have a member login created for them as part of their acceptance into the organization. Current Fellows do not need to register for an account.
